Week 5:             Hello, Everyone!  How are you?

              Por favor, podrían decirme el nombre del libro que están usando para ayudarse con las actividades? Si es el libro que usamos el año pasado  (On the Pulse 2) u otro que tuvieran. Muchas gracias.

              Vamos a repasar el tiempo verbal Pasado Simple (Simple Past). Junto con este archivo, les envío otro archivo con las reglas gramaticales de este tiempo verbal: para qué se usa y las palabras que ayudan a identificarlo. Por favor, repasen las formas: afirmativa, interrogativa y negativa, y el uso del auxiliar: “Did”.

               Recuerden seguir repasando las listas de verbos Regulares e Irregulares y usarlas para completar sus trabajos.

Activity 1:  “The book (or comic) I like”

-        You are reading the book  you like. Now answer the following questions:

-        Answer:

1-     What book are you reading? (title).

2-     Who is the author?

3-     What type of book is it? (science fiction, romance, mistery, poetry, etc.).

4-     Who are the characters?

5-     When does the story happen?

6-     Where does the story happen?

         Go on reading and enjoy it !!

 Activity 2: Revision: Simple Past Tense

             Write  the verbs in brackets in the affirmative, interrogative or negative forms.  Read carefully:

1-     They …… (go) to Bariloche last holidays and ……. (stay) at a big hotel.

2-     Susan …… (decide) to buy a present for her mother’s birthday, but she ….. (not know) what to buy.

3-     When …… your uncle ….. (start) the company?

4-     We ….. (make) a chocolate cake last weekend.

5-     My father …… (paint) and ….. (draw) beautiful pictures when he …. (be) younger.

6-     He …… (chat) online with his friends but he ……. (not play) games yesterday afternoon.
