SIMPLE PRESENT

.  Habits – Routines
.  Words: everyday, every month, every week, always, sometimes, often, usually,  twice a week, never,  at weekends, etc.
           
.  Auxiliaries: “Do – Does   à   for Interrogative  and Negative forms.
                      . “Do” = I / You / We / They.
                      . “Does” =  He / She / It.

1. Affirmative:     I / You / We / They   +  Verb (base form)  +  complements.  
                                      (subject)
                          They go to the park at weekends.         
                                    V
  . Interrogative:        Do  + I /you / we / they  + Verb  (base form) + complements ?
                       Do they go to the park at weekends ?   Yes, they do./No, they don’t.     

   . Negative:      I/You/We/They  + don’t (do not) + Verb (base form)+ complements
                      They don’t (do not) go to the park at weekends.               
                         
                  
2. Affirmative:          He / She / It   +  Verb (base form)   +  S  +  complements.   
                                     (subject)
                        She goes to the park at weekends.   
                                  
   Ingerrogative:        Does + he/she/it   + Verb (base form) + complements ?                     
                        Does she go to the park at weekends ?  Yes, she does/ No, she doesn’t.     

   Negative:    He/ She/ It  + doesn’t (does not) + Verb (base form) + complements.
                         She doesn’t (does not) go to the park at weekends.                                        

Importante:  
. En Afirmativo, con “He, She, It” el verbo de la oración lleva “S”.
. En Interrogativo y Negativo, al usar el auxiliar “Does”, el verbo se escribe como en infinitivo, sin la “S”.
